The father-and-son tandem of Anthony Pangilinan and actor Donny Pangilinan campaigned for former Senator and senatorial candidate Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan in two separate areas in the Visayas and Mindanao on Wednesday.

Donny was warmly welcomed by Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Trenas, further solidifying the city’s support for Pangilinan in the region.

He was invited to two barangay events led by Mayor Trenas’ daughter, mayoral candidate Raisa Trenas, and her team in Barangays Jalandoni and Lapuz.

During the two events, Donny expressed his gratitude to the Ilonggos for their continued support for his uncle and his advocacy on food security and lower food prices.

“Galing po ako sa office ni Mayor Jerry kanina at sinabi niya sa akin na sinusuportahan po ng mga Ilonggo si Tito Kiko Pangilinan. Kaya maraming-maraming salamat po,” Donny shared.

“Sana po sa May 12, huwag niyo pong kalimutan, Kiko Pangilinan. Number 51 po sa balota. Para pababain po natin ang presyo ng pagkain,” he added.

Later, Donny and his friends joined supporters and volunteers in distributing flyers at Molo Plaza.

Meanwhile, Anthony joined Team Arnado’s motorcade and proclamation rally at the Kauswagan International Organic Convention Center, Lanao del Norte.

He was welcomed by incumbent Mayor Rommel Arnado and his wife Sonia, who is running for mayor in the upcoming elections, along with their entire slate of candidates for councilor.

Anthony later had a meet-and-greet with his brother’s supporters in Baloi, Lanao del Norte.
