Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan has expressed his gratitude over being hand-picked by President Benigno Aquino III to be a part of the Cabinet upon his “graduation” from the Senate in 2013.
President Aquino told reporters while in London that Pangilinan, together with Senator Panfilo Lacson, were being considered “in particular” for the President’s team after their terms expire on June 30, 2013.
Of this, Pangilinan says, “I am thankful for the vote of confidence expressed by PNoy and I leave it to the President to decide where he believes I can be of help in his administration’s reform agenda.”
No specific Cabinet portfolio has yet been identified or discussed in line with this pronouncement.
