Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, a vocal critic of the Arroyo administration, today expresses his approval for Justice Secretary Leila de Lima’s decision to bar the former president from leaving the country, supposedly for medical treatment.
“Suportado natin ang desisyon ni Secretary De Lima,” Pangilinan says, then asks the former president to explain her real intentions for leaving the country.
The veteran lawmaker also point out that should the Arroyos disagree with the DOJ’s decision, then legal remedies are available to make their case.
