Poor students now have a chance to finish college through this law, which provides free tuition and miscellaneous and other mandatory fees in state universities and colleges (SUCs).

It also provides financial assistance to student-beneficiaries in both public and private education institutions for other cost of education, such as food, books and living expenses.
