Students — whether elementary, secondary, technical and vocational, or higher education institution — now enjoy a 20-percent discount in public utility vehicles (buses, jeepneys, taxis) and other vehicle for hire (tricycle, passenger trains, airplanes and marine vessels) while they are enrolled, during weekends and holiday.

The discount allows them to gain additional money for other needs and educational expenses, such as food, lodging, and educational materials, among others.
