Former Senator and senatorial candidate Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan over the weekend visited various areas in Albay as part of his Bicol campaign, meeting with volunteers, supporters, and local officials.

He kicked off his Albay run with a meeting with supporters in Polangui, discussing his food security agenda and the benefits of his Sagip Saka Act.

It was followed by a motorcade to Ligao City, where he was warmly received by residents and supporters.

In Guinobatan, Pangilinan met with Mayor Paul Chino Garcia and various local officials and employees. He also shared his plans to lower food prices, create livelihood opportunities, and promote economic development in the area.

The former Senator had a motorcade and market visit in Daraga and capped his Albay campaign with a market run in Legazpi.

Pangilinan previously topped the 2022 vice presidential race in Albay in overwhelming fashion with 444,396 votes — more than the combined total of his eight other rivals for the post.
