MALABON — Vice-presidential candidate Kiko Pangilinan on Wednesday rebuked political opponents in Navotas who vandalized several Leni-Kiko murals, saying his and Vice-President Leni Robredo’s supporters will not be cowed by this dastardly act but instead be emboldened to campaign harder for their tandem.

At the campaign sortie here, Malabon Mayor Len Oreta endorsed the Robredo and Pangilinan, as well as the Tropang Angat senatorial slate that includes Teddy Baguilat, Leila De Lima, Chel Diokno, Dick Gordon, Risa Hontiveros, Alex Lacson, Sonny Matula, and Sonny Trillanes.

“Makikiusap ako. Dapat pa nating magsipag. Kaya natin ‘to. Walang imposible. Kailangan magtulong-tulong, sama-sama,” the mayor addressed the crowd.

At kailangan kasama Kiko Pangilinan,” Oreta said.

Pangilinan asked supporters to calmly convince the undecided and confused among Filipino voters.

Kausapin sa maayos na paraan,” he said.

Pangilinan compared his courtship of his now wife Sharon Cuneta, with whom he is celebrating their 26the wedding anniversary, to the ongoing national electoral campaign.

Ganoon talaga. Aalagaan mo, mamahalin mo,” he said.

Pangilinan warned against choosing liars.

“Pag binoto ang sinungaling, tuloy-tuloy ang pagsisinungaling hanggang pag-upo. Itatago ang pagnanakaw,” he said.
