“They are insensitive, arrogant and heartless with their threats.”

This is the statement Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan made after the oil companies threatened that there will be a shortage of oil products should the government insist on a rollback of prices to levels 12 days ago as ordered by Malacañang in its Executive Order 839.

“Their arrogance is truly deplorable. Rather than cooperate and contribute to helping address the suffering of our people, they resort to veiled threats. We shouldn’t allow these companies to resort to bully tactics to try and cow government into submission.”
