Actors Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos are supporting the vice-presidential candidacy of Megastar Sharon Cuneta’s husband, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.
This, the Agoncillos indicated when they accompanied Sharon and Kiko in their Absentee Voting Campaign in Hong Kong last weekend.
The campaign aims to encourage Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) to register and participate in the Philippines national elections in 2010. The Pangilinans were in Hong Kong to witness their kababayans’ online registration.
“Kahit malayo sila, ibig sabihin, may partisipasyon sila sa nangyayari sa bansa,” said Sharon in a taped interview aired on “Showbiz News Ngayon” on Aug. 17.
On Kiko’s bid for the vice-presidential post, Sharon said they are “ready” and that she will take care of it “on a personal level.”
Apart from Kiko, the megastar said she is excited to see her ex-husband Gabby Concepcion and their daughter KC Concepcion on ABS-CBN primetime shows.
Gabby is cast in “Dahil May Isang Ikaw” while KC plays lead in the remake of “Lovers in Paris.”
